While Pictou County Roots for Youth has transitioned into a staff-based organization, we still welcome interested volunteers for our annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser! For anyone who would like to assist with our Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser, please call (902) 695.3241 or email admin@pcrootsforyouth.ca. We'd love to include you on our volunteer list and have your support and participation!
Pictou County Roots for Youth is also accepting applications for new members on our Board of Directors, which is a volunteer position. We welcome applications from community members with long-standing educational and professional experience in working with at-risk and homeless youth. For more information, please call (902) 695.3241 or email admin@pcrootsforyouth.ca. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Roots for Youth!

We acknowledge that the land that we live and work on, Mi'kma'ki, is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) people first signed with the British Crown in 1725.
