"Supporting youth one step at a time."

WELCOME HOME

P
ictou County Roots for Youth Society is a non-profit organization that serves youth 16-24 of age to reach their highest potential. We are proud to offer several programs to support young people on their journey through self-development.

We know the road to change is not always a direct path and every person moves at their own pace. The organization aims to support youth at each step of their journey, through the trials and tribulations, and through the small victories and overall progress.

We acknowledge that the land that we live and work on, Mi'kma'ki, is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) people first signed with the British Crown in 1725.
