P
ictou County Roots for Youth Society is a not-for-profit organization that empowers youth aged 16-24 to reach their highest potential. We are proud to offer several programs to support young people on their journey through self-development.

We know the road to change is not always a direct path and every human moves at their own pace. We aim not only to shorten the journey, but to walk it with them.

We acknowledge that the land that we live and work on, Mi'kma'ki, is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) people first signed with the British Crown in 1725.
