At Roots for Youth, we understand the importance and value of safety and shelter for vulnerable young people. We understand that each youth is individual and unique, and therefore each youth has different needs and goals. We aim to support youth as wholesomely and holistically as possible, which involves connecting youth to local support services and resources that also work to meet the community's basic needs. We understand that progress, and trials and tribulations is a life-long experience. We're honored to walk with youth during the trials and tribulations, and also celebrate any success and victories that youth experience in their time with us.

We acknowledge that the land that we live and work on, Mi'kma'ki, is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) people first signed with the British Crown in 1725.
